VIDEO: Do you show yourself compassion?
Self-compassion is something I lacked completely until a few months ago. (and that’s even after going to therapy for about 9-10 months.) My mom would always tell me “You’re so hard on yourself” and it’s something I never believed - I thought it was apart of the grind.
Recently, I've learned, that compassion is a necessary part of achieving optimal wellness. You are human. And as humans, we are imperfect so we are liable to make mistakes.
But mistakes don't have to be where it stops, mistakes can lay the foundation for you to begin again.
